Victoria Myerson specialises in matrimonial disputes for high net worth clients. These involve the division of substantial assets, as well as issues regarding family trusts and business interests.
Victoria has a wealth of experience, dealing with some of the most significant matrimonial proceedings in the Island. Recent cases have involved disputes over various trust funds, company valuations, share portfolios and local property. She regularly appears on behalf of the States of Jersey, in relation to public law children proceedings.
She joined Bailhache Labesse, one of the predecessor firms of Appleby, in 2004. She was called to the English Bar in 1994 and worked as a Barrister, in London, before returning to Jersey in 1998. Victoria re-qualified as an Advocate of the Royal Court in 2003.
Victoria is a member of the Family Law Bar Association and Jersey Family Law Association.
She has contributed to numerous publications, regularly appearing in the quarterly Litigation group’s newsletter, Resolution. Victoria is a keen speaker, and has presented on family law to clients and industry professionals.
Victoria is fluent in French.
